What We're Looking For
We seek an exceptional Tanzanian educator with the following qualifications and attributes:
Essential Criteria:
- Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited East African university, with a strong academic record.
- Teaching Experience: Minimum 4 years of secondary school teaching experience in high-performing institutions, with a proven track record of excellence.
- Leadership Experience: At least 4 years in an academic leadership role (e.g., Head of Department, Academic Coordinator) in a reputable secondary school.
- Curriculum Expertise: Proficiency in delivering the NECTA curriculum using learner-centered, competency-based teaching methodologies.
- Communication Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English (the primary medium of instruction).
- Professionalism: A mature, ethical, and dynamic educator with a passion for innovation in teaching.
- Personal Attributes: Vibrant, diligent, and inspiring—able to motivate students and staff alike.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adhere to school policies, including weekend duties when required.
Added Advantages:
- Certification in computer skills (proof of proficiency required).
- Experience in developing academic procedures (budgeting, assessments, reporting, timetabling).
