JOB OVERVIEW
The Building Supervisor will oversee construction and maintenance projects at the site. The role involves supervising workers, managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with engineers and contractors. This position supports the Buildings and Infrastructure Manager in executing projects from design to completion with strict adherence to site safety and construction standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop lists of tools, materials, and equipment needed for construction work.
- Monitor engineering design compliance and liaise with local district officials.
- Enforce quality control and assurance practices across all projects.
- Interpret and explain construction contracts and technical information to contractors.
- Ensure all site work aligns with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Support the delivery of construction projects on time and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Civil Engineering (FTC or higher).
- At least 3 years of construction experience, ideally within the mining sector.
- Valid driving license.
- Strong knowledge of building processes, materials, and project supervision.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
