JOB OVERVIEW

Fema Mining and Drilling Limited is hiring three (3) professional and safety-oriented Bus Drivers for its mining site in Katoro, Geita. The role involves transporting employees and materials safely and punctually while upholding high standards of safety and professionalism.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive company buses to transport staff and equipment to/from mining sites.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.
• Follow company transport schedules and traffic regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Ensure passenger safety during boarding, travel, and alighting.
• Keep records of mileage, fuel, and trip logs.
• Coordinate with the Project Supervisor for operational planning.
• Respond to emergency situations calmly and responsibly.
• Participate in all required safety briefings and sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class D Tanzanian Driver’s License.
• Public Service Vehicle (PSV) license/endorsement required.
• At least 3 years of bus driving experience, preferably in industrial settings.
• Sound knowledge of Tanzanian road rules and safety practices.
• Ability to drive on both paved and unpaved rural roads.
• Good communication skills in Swahili (English is an added advantage).
• Must provide an Introduction Letter from local government.
• Physically fit, reliable, and ready for shift work.

WORK CONDITIONS

• Driving in mining environments with exposure to dust and noise.
• Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
