📋 Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Performance
- Supervise day-to-day branch operations and staff duties to meet sales and service targets.
- Benchmark productivity and recommend improvements.
- Review performance against set KPIs and develop action plans.
People Management
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Handle recruitment, training, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Approve staff leave plans, manage overtime, and initiate disciplinary procedures as needed.
Compliance & Controls
- Enforce adherence to operational manuals, audit standards, and banking regulations (KYC/AML).
- Ensure safety of branch cash, keys, and assets.
- Oversee ATM management and daily cash operations.
Sales & Business Development
- Drive the branch towards meeting its commercial targets.
- Develop customer acquisition strategies and retain existing clients.
- Implement sales plans, cross-sell bank products, and monitor branch risk.
Community Engagement
- Build strong relationships with community leaders and clients.
- Represent NBC in local events and maintain a visible community presence.
Career Development
- Stay updated with new policies, product offerings, and training requirements.
- Continuously improve personal knowledge and leadership skills.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Banking, Finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar banking or financial role
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with digital tools and NBC banking products is an added advantage
