About the Role:
ABA Alliance is expanding its services to include an Executive Search and Human Capital Advisory unit. The HR Manager will oversee internal HR operations and lead the development of this new business unit.

Key Responsibilities:
Internal HR Functions:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and exit processes
  • Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labour laws and statutory requirements
  • Advise leadership on workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational development

Executive Search & Talent Services:

  • Set up and manage an in-house Executive Search unit
  • Create service packages, pricing structures, and operational processes
  • Build a client and candidate database
  • Lead recruitment assignments from planning to placement
  • Position the unit as a revenue-generating arm of the firm

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian labour regulations
  • Experience in executive recruitment or staffing agency operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and business development skills
  • Background in professional services or consulting is an advantage
