🧾 Position Summary
Mkuranga District Council is hiring five qualified drivers under the title Dereva Daraja II. This role focuses on official transportation duties, vehicle care, and safe driving practices for government operations.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after trips to ensure safety
- Transport staff on official assignments
- Perform minor vehicle repairs
- Collect and deliver official documents
- Maintain a logbook of all trips
- Keep the vehicle clean
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
🎓 Qualifications
- Certificate of Form IV (Kidato cha Nne)
- Valid Driving License Class E or C, with at least 1 year driving experience without causing accidents
- Must have attended Basic Technical Training (VETA) or any other government-recognized institution
💼 Salary Scale
- TGS B in line with Government standards
