🧾 Job Summary
The Geita District Council is inviting applications from qualified drivers to fill fifteen (15) positions for Dereva Daraja II. Successful candidates will be responsible for official transport duties and vehicle maintenance.
📌 Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after trips to ensure safety
- Transport staff on official duties
- Perform minor vehicle repairs
- Deliver and collect official documents
- Record all journeys in the logbook
- Clean and maintain vehicle hygiene
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
🎓 Minimum Qualifications
- Certificate of Form IV (Kidato cha Nne)
- Valid Driving License Class E or C with at least 1 year accident-free driving experience
- Completion of Basic Technical Training (VETA) or equivalent institution recognized by the Government
💼 Salary Scale
- TGS B, as per government pay scale
