Job Title: Manager – Collateral Inspection Coverage

Job Purpose:
Oversee and coordinate collateral inspection activities across zones, ensuring timely, accurate, and risk-based coverage to safeguard operational efficiency and standardization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide a team of Collateral Inspection and Reporting Specialists.
- Ensure uniform application of inspection protocols across zones.
- Develop and maintain an annual inspection plan aligned with the bank’s risk profile.
- Review inspection reports for quality, consistency, and completeness.
- Monitor and escalate collateral-related risks identified through inspections.
- Analyze inspection trends for early warning signs of fraud or non-compliance.
- Collaborate with Collateral Governance, Risk, Credit, Legal, and Relationship Management teams.
- Engage with warehouse operators, borrowers, and third-party collateral managers on complex issues.
- Present inspection insights and statistics to senior management.
- Coordinate with internal audit, compliance, and external assurance providers.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Expertise in collateral inspection, risk monitoring, and asset verification.
- Understanding of loan portfolio management and lending policies.
- Proven leadership and remote team management experience.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Familiarity with digital inspection tools (GPS tracking, photographic evidence, mobile reporting apps).
- Ability to travel as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in banking or financial services, with focus on secured lending and risk management.
