Key Responsibilities

As a Safari Guide at Altezza Travel, your core duties will include:

Guiding guests through Tanzania’s premier national parks and game reserves.
Providing expert knowledge about local wildlife, ecosystems, and cultures.
Ensuring guests’ safety and comfort throughout all stages of their safari.
Navigating off-road terrain and driving responsibly in diverse environments.
Delivering high-quality service that exceeds guest expectations.
Handling unexpected situations calmly and professionally.
Acting as a brand ambassador for Altezza Travel and Tanzanian tourism.

Required Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Valid Tanzanian driving license with Category C and Public Service Vehicle (PSV) endorsement.
Fluency in English is mandatory (speaking, reading, writing). Additional languages such as German, French, or Spanish are highly advantageous.
At least 5 years of professional safari guiding experience, ideally with a recognized tour operator.
In-depth understanding of Tanzanian flora and fauna, national parks, and local cultures.
Excellent off-road driving skills and the ability to navigate challenging terrains.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
High levels of integrity, reliability, and a friendly demeanor.
Experience in the tourism, travel, or hospitality sector is preferred.
