Job Title: Business Development Representative-1

Location: Mwanza, Tanzania

Key Purpose:

Drive growth in sales volume, increase market share, and enhance competitiveness by providing differentiated, market-driven services in clearly identified segments.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Manage and supervise distributors, including orders, payments, and redistribution.
  • Ensure availability of a complete range of IB products in retail outlets.
  • Ensure proper merchandising of brands, including POS materials and chillers.
  • Ensure chillers are placed in performing outlets and stocked exclusively with IBPLC products.
  • Monitor product pricing at sales outlets.
  • Track competitor actions closely.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Dynamic, sociable, and well-organized.
  • Good communication (oral and written).
  • Team leadership skills and ability to maintain collaboration across departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond well to feedback.
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-disciplined.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Social Sciences or relevant discipline.
  • At least 2 years sales experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Good practical and theoretical knowledge of FMCG sales
