Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal, group, and statutory purposes.
- Liaise with group finance teams to understand technical and business guidelines.
- Prepare Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 3-5 year business plans.
- Use forecasting tools to achieve business objectives.
Liquidity and Cash Management
- Manage liquidity to ensure obligations are met on time.
- Regularly review working capital requirements.
- Negotiate and arrange external financing if necessary.
Audit Management
- Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring clean audit outcomes.
- Coordinate quarterly audits and annual financial statement compliance.
Business Planning and Compliance
- Ensure expenditures align with the AOP and group procedures.
- Maintain regulatory compliance with banking and Central Bank regulations related to M-Commerce.
- Implement and update financial control policies and procedures.
- Oversee revenue assurance and anti-money laundering compliance.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Manage relationships with partner banks and service providers for payments and settlements.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related business field.
- Professional qualification: CPA / ACA / ACCA.
Experience:
- At least 15 years of progressive finance experience.
- Minimum 8 years in finance roles within banking, financial services, or telecommunications industries.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting and negotiations with regulators and banks.
